Summary: 12 ice cimbers caught, 3 injured
A group of 12 ice climbers -- climbing in 4 rope teams -- where caught in a relatively small slab avalanche triggered by the top-most team. The next highest team was swept to the bottom of the gully. These three climbers various injuries: one a broken leg, one suffered shoulder and back pain, and one suffered an injured ankle. The third rope team was stopped when the bottom climber was able to arrest the fall of his mates. The fourth (and lowest) team were swept down but their rope caught on a rock and stopped their fall.
